The purpose of this Cookies Policy (hereinafter “the Policy”) is to inform the visitors or users (hereinafter the “User”) of the website (hereinafter the “Website”) of the terms of use of the Cookies and methods of protecting their personal data by SUEZ (hereinafter the “Publisher”). This Policy can be updated at any time in the event of changes in the applicable regulations. Users are asked to regularly consult this Policy and the date of the last update.

What are cookies, and what are they for?

A cookie (hereinafter the “Cookies”) is a small text that can electronically access information already stored on your device (tablet computer, smartphone, desktop or laptop computer and in general anything connected to a telecommunications network open to the public) or store information on it, when you visit the Website.

Why do we use Cookies?

Cookies enable the Publisher to recognise the User’s device whenever they visit the Website and therefore to analyse their behaviour in order to improve the Website and optimise the User experience.
In the interest of transparency, the Publisher undertakes to explain in detail how cookies are used, as indicated below.

Storage period

What is the maximum storage period of Cookies?

Cookies can be stored for a maximum of thirteen (13) months from the obtaining of the User’s consent. The data collected via Cookies are then either erased or anonymised according to the nature of the Cookie.

What are Cookies sent by third parties?

The User is informed that the Publisher's partners and any other third party, the list of which is provided below, are likely to deposit Cookies on the Site. These are referred to as "Third Party Cookies".
The issue and use of Cookies by third parties are subject to the privacy policies, as indicated below, and the cookie policies of these third parties in addition to the provisions of this Declaration.

Among the third-party cookies are, in particular, Cookies deposited by Google, via the Google Analytics service, or by Youtube, via the service which makes it possible to count visitors and identify the way in which they use the Site. To do this, the service collects your IP address to determine the connection city. SUEZ has ensured that this data is immediately anonymized after location, is not communicated to Google and is therefore not likely to be associated with other data relating to the User.

Accept or block Cookies

How can Users accept or block Cookies?

a. Configuration via the Cookies banner of the Website

Except for the so-called “necessary” cookies which cannot be disabled, the sending of all other types of cookies is subject to the User’s prior consent. When the User first visits the Website, a Cookie banner is displayed. The User can accept/activate or block/disable Cookies via the Cookie banner, by ticking/unticking the relevant boxes. Apart from the box relating to necessary cookies, the other boxes are unticked by default. Any disabling results in the blocking of the cookies in question.
By continuing to browse the Website or by clicking on any part of the Website, the User accepts the sending of Cookies according to the default settings.

If the User agrees to cookies being saved to their device, the cookies embedded in the pages and content that they view will be stored temporarily in a dedicated space on their device. They can only be read by the issuer.

Blocking unnecessary cookies cannot restrict access to the Website. The User’s Cookie preferences (consent or rejection) will be stored for a period of 6 months. After that time, the User will be asked to choose again when they next visit the Website.

b. Browser configuration

Users can also control the saving of Cookies directly via the settings of their browser, to allow, block or delete them.
